Job description

Embark on an impactful contract opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative K-12 setting, serving all four district buildings—including elementary, middle, and high school levels. As a key member of the team, you’ll work closely with the district’s onsite Occupational Therapist, receiving ongoing supervision while delivering hands-on support across a diverse student population.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Pennsylvania COTA license required
  • Previous experience delivering occupational therapy services in school settings preferred
  • Comfortable working with students ages 5–18 across elementary, middle, and high school
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Skilled in adapting to varied schedules and building rapport with multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for helping students meet their educational and functional goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services under the direction and supervision of the district Occupational Therapist
  • Support students one-on-one or in small groups, adapting interventions to their IEPs and needs
  • Travel to and provide services at all four district buildings as scheduled
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for student growth
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families on student care and supports

This full-time contract position runs from August 25, 2026, through May 28, 2027, totaling 35 hours per week during the academic year. You’ll play a key role in ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive in their school environment.
