This contract opportunity is suited for a caring and enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with the skills and passion to foster growth and independence in young children ages 3-5. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Pennsylvania (PA)
  • Experience in school settings or pediatric populations strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of individualized education plan (IEP) implementation for early childhood
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills when working with therapists, teachers, administration, and families

What You'll Do:

  • Support and implement occupational therapy intervention plans developed by supervising Occupational Therapists, tailored to preschool students unique needs
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups, guiding children as they develop fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills critical for classroom success
  • Track progress and report on student development, contributing to IEP meetings and documentation
  • Adapt and modify activities to various learning environments, fostering engagement and progress
  • Communicate with staff and families to maintain a strong support network for each student
