A contract position is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in beautiful Pennsylvania. This school-based role supports both preschools and childcare centers, working with a diverse caseload that will grow from approximately 30 at the beginning of the year to 50 students as the school year progresses.

The assignment runs from August 18, 2026, through July 30, 2027, offering consistent, full-time hours—37.5 per week—with a friendly daily schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM. You’ll be collaborating with a talented team of professionals and supporting students’ growth and participation in educational routines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid COTA licensure in Pennsylvania required
• Previous experience in school settings, especially with preschool and early childhood populations, preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and documentation
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt to a dynamic caseload
• Passion for promoting student engagement and independence

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in preschools and childcare settings
• Assist in the development and carry out individualized student therapy plans
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and support IEP goals
• Work alongside teachers, parents, and other staff to integrate therapeutic interventions
• Adjust programming as caseload increases throughout the year
• Promote an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
