School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Job description

Experienced occupational therapists and certified occupational therapist assistants seeking a contract opportunity will find a rewarding and collaborative environment supporting K-12 students. This full-time position runs for the 20262027 school year, offering consistency and professional growth. Youll split your expertise between a variety of school settings, working alongside dedicated education professionals to provide high-quality care.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania COTA license is required
• Previous experience in schools is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge in healthcare settings, including home health
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and develop effective treatment plans to address students unique needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support student learning and well-being
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and consultative support as needed
• Support students in both individual and group therapy sessions across multiple locations
