Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required
• State licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for Washington
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborative multidisciplinary teaching environments
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with implementing treatment plans to help students meet their educational and functional goals
• Deliver direct therapy services individually and in small groups under OT supervision
• Contribute to documentation, progress reporting, and tracking of student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights on student performance and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote strategies that foster student success in and out of the classroom
• Organize and maintain therapy equipment and supplies to ensure efficient sessions
