Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid license or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of IEPs and 504 plans
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and assessments for students
  • Analyze and interpret results and report data effectively
  • Evaluate students needs and progress
  • Clearly communicate findings and strategies to IEP teams and parents
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and/or 504 plans
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students
  • Support teachers and assist COTAs as needed
