Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid license or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of IEPs and 504 plans
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and assessments for students
- Analyze and interpret results and report data effectively
- Evaluate students needs and progress
- Clearly communicate findings and strategies to IEP teams and parents
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and/or 504 plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students
- Support teachers and assist COTAs as needed
