Key Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Demonstrated experience working in K-12 school settings or similar environments
- Knowledge of IEP processes, goal-setting, and documentation within a school context
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to both group and individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students onsite as outlined in IEPs
- Assess, document, and track student progress, updating goals as appropriate
- Collaborate with educators and family members to promote student independence and participation
- Adapt approaches and materials for students with diverse learning needs
- Report progress and recommendations in a clear, timely manner
- Participate in team meetings, providing insight and expertise on student support
