Job description
Step into a rewarding role as a contract Occupational Therapist working with PreK-8th grade students near Phoenix, AZ, for the 2026/2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Arizona
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Strong background or interest in providing services within school settings
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Compassion, flexibility, and a student-centered mindset
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to PreK through 8th grade students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess students needs and document progress through standardized evaluations
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions
- Contribute to the creation of accessible learning environments for all students
- Maintain accurate records and timely reports according to school and state requirements
- Support students in developing the motor, sensory, and adaptive skills that allow for improved classroom participation
