Essential Qualifications:

• Current, active Virginia Occupational Therapy License
• Experience or genuine interest in working within K-12 school settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with educators, parents, and support staff
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
• Solid documentation and progress tracking abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and direct/consultative services to students ages Kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and adjust IEPs, therapy goals, and intervention strategies
• Promote student participation in both classroom routines and community-based activities
• Maintain clear and accurate records for compliance and ongoing progress reporting
• Provide guidance and training to school staff and families on best practices for supporting student development
