School Occupational Therapist - Arvada, Colorado

Step into a rewarding role supporting students growth and development as an onsite Occupational Therapist. Youll have the opportunity to work part-time, dedicating 16 hours a week to help young learners thrive from August 13th, 2026, through May 20th, 2027. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with a caseload of 20 students, making a meaningful impact in an educational setting near Arvada, CO.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and valid state Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently within school/district policies and procedures
• District or state-specific credentialing, if applicable

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, intervention planning, and therapeutic services for students in accordance with IEP goals
• Develop and implement age-appropriate treatment programs to address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create and monitor student progress
• Maintain detailed records and report on each students achievements and ongoing needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to broader special education planning efforts
