Occupational Therapist School Setting in Arvada, CO

Make a difference by supporting students in a vibrant, onsite school setting near Arvada, CO. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to work directly with a diverse student caseload, providing essential therapies in a cooperative educational environment.

This role is part-time, offering 1.5 days per week (16 hours total), beginning in mid-August 2026 and concluding in late May 2027. You’ll work exclusively onsite, collaborating closely with staff and students to promote successful educational outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Demonstrated commitment to student-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students based on IEP goals and school needs
• Develop tailored treatment plans for a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Deliver direct OT services and consult with teachers, parents, and staff
• Document session notes, evaluations, and progress reports according to school and legal requirements
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support strategies
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding therapy services in schools
