Embark on an exciting opportunity to make an impact in educational environments as a contracted Occupational Therapist supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This position, located near Abbeville, MS, spans the school year beginning September 9, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with a steady, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. You’ll engage with a manageable caseload of approximately 25 students, serving across four distinct locations—including two sites that are just two minutes apart for your convenience.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist license (Mississippi or compact eligible)
• Prior experience working in school-based settings with diverse student populations
• Comfortable planning and delivering therapy to children and adolescents (Pre-K–12)
• Skill in collaborating with other therapists, teachers, and school staff
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for a varied student population
• Develop individualized intervention plans to enhance students’ academic participation and functional skills
• Provide direct and consultative OT services in classroom or pull-out settings
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking for caseload management
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Travel between four local sites efficiently, with low commute times
