Required Qualifications:

• Valid and current Illinois COTA license
• Compliance with all district and state requirements for school-based practice
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapy staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Positive attitude and willingness to foster an inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Support licensed occupational therapists in assessing students and carrying out individualized intervention programs
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help, and adaptive functioning strategies
• Implement targeted interventions as outlined in students IEPs under the direction of the supervising OT
• Track progress, maintain documentation, and assist with required reporting
• Communicate observations and recommendations clearly with staff and families
• Contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on student support plans
