Key qualifications:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Florida
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Competence working with K-12 populations, diverse ages, and needs
• Willingness and ability to travel to varied school sites throughout the county (assignments provided in advance)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs, supporting their educational goals in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate closely with supervising OTs, educators, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
• Travel to multiple assigned school sites; flexibility and reliability in daily commutes are essential
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings as needed
• Encourage student independence and engagement within the classroom and school environment
