Job description

Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Occupational Therapist license (Virginia)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
- Proficient in addressing both fine and gross motor skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for working with students from early childhood through high school
Responsiblities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of motor, sensory, and functional abilities
- Create and implement targeted treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
- Partner with educators, families, and other specialists to support students’ progress
- Keep thorough documentation and adjust interventions as needs evolve
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and recommendations
