As a per diem Occupational Therapist, youll support a student with visual impairments through a blend of direct virtual occupational therapy and consultative services. Youll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including a Speech-Language Pathologist and Special Education Teacher, to shape effective accommodations and empower your students learning journey.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license (submit verification with application)
- Preferred school-based OT experience
- Experience supporting students with disabilities, ideally those who are blind or have visual impairments
- Background in multidisciplinary collaboration (SLPs, special education teams, etc.)
- Ability to provide virtual consultation and coordinate remote services
- Strong communication, documentation, and reliability
Responsibilities:
- Provide approximately 3 hours of OT services per month on a flexible schedule
- Collaborate remotely with the students virtual team and family
- Document progress and update service plans as needed
- Ensure all district credentialing and licensure requirements are maintained
