Job description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist supporting learners in a welcoming educational environment near the beautiful Montecito and Carpinteria areas. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity is designed for a professional who thrives when collaborating on campus and enjoys making a difference in childrens daily lives.
Your background in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy will be highly valued as you assess and address the unique needs of each student. Youll work alongside teachers, special education staff, and supportive administrators who appreciate your expertise in promoting student growth and independence.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license in California
- Experience working in K-12 settings or strong motivation to transition to school-based therapy
- Understanding of IEP process, developmental milestones, and individualized therapeutic strategies
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for fostering positive outcomes for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement evidence-based treatment for students with varying needs
- Develop and track progress on IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services that address students sensory, motor, and self-care skills
- Communicate progress and collaborate with families and educators
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all school, state, and federal standards

Compensation for this position ranges from $38.00 to $70.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
