In this role, youll expand your skill set by collaborating with different leadership teams, navigating various school cultures, and working with a diverse student body from elementary to middle school levels, including homebound students. The itinerant nature of the assignment promises day-to-day variety and the chance to build your resume with experiences unique to travel OTs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Current CO Department of Education licensure
- DORA certification
- Prior school-based OT experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services to students across two elementary schools, one middle school, and support for homebound students
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40-60, with a dynamic allocation model that ensures balanced workloads
- Participate in mandatory New Hire Orientation (Summer Symposium July 27-31, 2026)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and attend relevant meetings
- Ensure IEP and service minute compliance across assigned schools
