What Youll Bring:

  • Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license, in good standing
  • Experience or interest in school-based OT, serving elementary-aged students (ages 35th grade)
  • Comfort supporting students with complex needs, including high-level autism, communication, and behavior challenges
  • Ability to travel to several school locations as needed
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct OT services to students, focusing on academic life skills, communication, and behavior needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and staff
  • Set your own schedule, coordinating daily activities with building administrators (21 hours direct service/week; total 35 hours/week)
  • Support and empower students to achieve their IEP goals
  • Participate in district-led mentorship and peer collaboration
