Key Qualifications:

• Current, active North Carolina Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) credentials
• Strong communication skills for working with teachers, students, and families
• Ability to manage time and caseload efficiently
• Commitment to fostering student participation and success in classroom activities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary educational staff
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress toward goals
• Provide input on IEPs and attend necessary meetings
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student development
• May support multiple schools or service locations as student needs require

This opportunity runs from early November 2026 to late May 2027 with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. You will play a critical role in enhancing student learning and engagement, contributing to an inclusive learning environment.
