Job description

Serving a diverse range of students, youll collaborate with educators and families to assess needs, support IEP goals, and foster skill development. Your role will play a vital part in each childs educational experience by promoting independence and maximizing participation in school activities.
What youll bring:
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in Rhode Island
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting desirable
- Familiarity with case documentation, IEPs, and student-centered interventions
- Strong communication skills to liaise with teachers, families, and colleagues
- Enthusiasm for working with children from kindergarten through high school
- Commitment to maintaining ethical, evidence-based practices
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for students
- Delivering direct therapy services and monitoring progress toward goals
- Supporting classroom participation through adaptive strategies and assistive technology
- Documenting services, progress, and recommendations in accordance with district protocols
- Collaborating in multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights and advocate for students needs
