Job description

Step into a rewarding role providing occupational therapy services to students in a lively school setting. This contract opportunity is designed for a dedicated Voco OT who is comfortable working onsite and supporting kindergarten through 12th-grade students. Youll be instrumental in helping young learners achieve their fullest potential by fostering growth in their motor skills, independence, and academic participation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid OT licensure in North Carolina
• Prior experience working with students in a school environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of school-based OT practices and IEP processes
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, and documentation for diverse caseloads
• Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families
• Comfortable adapting services for a wide range of age groups and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services onsite to students across all grade levels
• Develop, implement, and track individualized therapy goals as part of IEP teams
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff for coordinated care
• Document progress and complete accurate, timely reports
• Screen and assess students to identify areas of need
• Offer staff training and parent consultations as needed
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth

This is a full-time, onsite position working approximately 40 hours each week. You will make a daily impact by helping students achieve academic and personal milestones.
