Job description

This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with dedicated educators and families to help students reach their greatest potential by addressing a variety of physical, sensory, and cognitive barriers to learning and participation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to manage a caseload and conduct assessments independently
• Compassion and dedication to supporting children with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ abilities and needs through observations and standardized tests
• Develop and implement targeted intervention plans in accordance with students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure coordinated support
• Provide direct therapy services individually or in groups, supporting academic access and life skills
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and communications
• Support professional development of staff by sharing OT strategies and insights
• Participate in meetings and contribute your expertise to multidisciplinary teams
