Qualifications:

• Current and valid South Carolina Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred

• Skilled in completing assessments, developing IEP goals, and documenting progress

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to their individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Assess students’ physical, sensory, and developmental needs within the school environment
• Develop and implement customized interventions and strategies that enhance student participation in daily school activities
• Maintain comprehensive records of progress and provide input for IEP meetings
• Educate and guide school staff on strategies to improve students’ independence
