What Were Looking For:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (OT IL license required)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Familiarity with a range of disabilities and interventions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
• Initiative and adaptability to meet evolving student needs
• Professional, organized, and compassionate approach

What Youll Do:

• Provide therapy services to a diverse caseload including high school and elementary school students
• Assess, evaluate, and develop treatment strategies tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into students educational plans
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute thoughtful recommendations
• Adapt interventions and materials to promote student participation and success in the school setting
