Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This position, located near Carmel, IN, covers a maternity leave from November 23rd through March 10th. You’ll play a vital role in helping students develop key skills for academic and daily living success during a pivotal time in their education.

Key Qualifications:

• Current OT license in the state (or eligibility for licensure)
• School-based Occupational Therapy experience preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt interventions to a diverse range of student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs
• Evaluate students’ functional performance and contribute to multidisciplinary assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Advise teachers and staff on classroom modifications and strategies to enhance student participation
