Job description
Take on a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential occupational therapy services to students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade. Serving a caseload of approximately 55 students, youll travel across multiple school sites, supporting learners as they work toward IEP goals within an engaging, collaborative educational environment. This onsite role is scheduled from August 6, 2026, through February 12, 2027, with the potential for extension through the full school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
- Demonstrated experience in leading and actively participating in IEP meetings
- Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) is preferred
- Proficient with technology and digital documentation systems
- Previous experience working in school-based OT roles is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs across assigned campuses
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary educational teams to promote student engagement, access, and functional skill development
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing input on student strengths, challenges, and progress
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation and service tracking in accordance with district and regulatory standards
- Travel between sites as needed to support student caseloads
