Step into an essential role supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in the Avondale, AZ area, working directly onsite in a contract position through the school year. Youll make a real impact by providing hands-on therapy, assessments, and intervention for K-8 students across one to three school sitesdesigned with a low caseload in mind to let you focus on student progress. Youll be part of a collaborative environment and may also have opportunities to supervise COTAs, ensuring high-quality service delivery for all students.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license required
• IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with assessments, IEP process, and special education documentation

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to K-8 students following assessment and IEP guidelines
• Administer standardized testing for eligibility and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations tailored to each students needs
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation of services and outcomes
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as needed
