Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Illinois
• Experience in school-based settings highly valued
• Comfortable working with K-12 student populations, adapting support to diverse needs
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork with staff and families
• Flexibility and organizational skills for managing a caseload with limited weekly hours

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
• Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• Document progress, maintain accurate therapy records, and provide updates to the team
• Equip students with adaptive strategies to enhance their participation in academic and daily activities
• Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families to achieve student goals
• Participate in planning and problem-solving to improve student access and inclusion

This position is based in Lake in the Hills, IL, with approximately 15 hours per week and a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. You'll work in a supportive educational environment focused on student success and professional collaboration.
