Embark on a rewarding opportunity providing essential Occupational Therapy services to students at a school near Palmer, AK. This contract position focuses on delivering impactful, in-person therapy throughout the school year, supporting students development and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for Alaska
• Type C Certification is required
• School-based Occupational Therapy experience strongly preferred
• AK Certification highly regarded
• Comfortable working exclusively onsite (not a remote or VOCO position)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to provide approximately 1,000 minutes of student contact per week
• Organized, proactive, and flexible in managing caseload demands

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students OT needs
• Provide direct interventions and develop individualized treatment plans to promote students functional independence and educational participation
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, other support staff, and families to implement strategies and monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and required documentation in line with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for occupational therapy services
• Manage a dynamic caseload efficiently across a standard 37.5-hour workweek
