Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Occupational Therapists seeking a contract assignment focused on supporting students’ growth and independence. This in-person position offers the chance to make a real difference in a vibrant school setting near Palmer, Alaska, with assignments running through the school year until late May 2027. With multiple positions open, you’ll collaborate within a dedicated team and receive the support you need to thrive.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for Alaska required
• TYPE C Certification mandatory
• Previous experience as an OT in a K-12 school environment highly preferred
• Ability to handle approximately 1,000 minutes of direct student contact weekly
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• AK certification preferred for added consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services onsite, tailoring interventions to meet students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student participation in school activities
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided, assessment results, and progress reports
• Assess student needs, develop targeted therapy plans, and monitor outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to help drive student success
