Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist (OT) License required
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with K-12 students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to professional growth and reflective practice

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students functional, developmental, and academic needs within the school setting
• Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions to promote student participation
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to support student goals
• Provide targeted therapies, adapting sessions as needed for K-12 ages and abilities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEP reports and progress notes
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to facilitate student growth and independence
