Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Michigan (or ability to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Complete timely evaluations and documentation
• Educate and consult with teachers and families to support carryover of strategies in various settings
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student progress discussions
• Monitor and report on student outcomes, adapting goals and strategies as needed
