Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Current OT licensure valid for school-based practice
• Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Creative problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluate students’ needs for occupational therapy services
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Work in partnership with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Provide direct therapy, consultation, and adaptive strategies for students
• Maintain accurate and timely records according to school requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
• Support classroom participation, fine/gross motor skill development, and sensory processing strategies
• Contribute to professional development activities as part of the broader school team
