Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Proficiency with a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques for school-aged children
• Strong communication skills to coordinate among teachers, students, and families
• Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized intervention plans
• Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive school culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify needs related to fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily functioning
• Design and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions within the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers and special education teams to ensure therapy goals align with IEPs
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough and confidential records
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and strategies for continued improvement
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for accommodations and modifications
