This part-time contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Occupational Therapist interested in contributing their skills to a dedicated educational team for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Previous experience working as a school OT, preferably with pediatric (Peds) populations
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to fit individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students motor, sensory, and daily living skills within an educational environment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with teachers and support staff
- Maintain thorough records for each student and document progress toward IEP goals
- Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports successful student participation in classroom activities
- Consult with educators and families to offer guidance and strategies for consistent progress
