In this role, youll be working with a diverse student population across two middle schools, supporting them through both direct therapy and consultative services, with flexibility to integrate your schedule around other commitmentsperfect for those balancing clinical work or seeking a new challenge within pediatrics.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license
- School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
- Immediate ability to complete credentialing requirements, including VA Dept. of Social Services check and TB test
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consult OT services to a caseload of approximately 25 students (ages vary)
- Conduct evaluations as needed throughout the school year
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including program directors and lead OTs
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
