Job description

Take your occupational therapy expertise into a fulfilling contract position supporting students across two vibrant school communities for the upcoming academic year. An engaging opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (on-site only), working with a caseload of approximately 41 students split between two schools—three days each week at a middle school and two days at an elementary setting.

Assignment runs from September 9 through the end of the school year, with a brief, half-day training session the week prior to your start date. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week, where your skills will directly impact student success and growth.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Current, valid Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience in school-based, skilled therapy—pediatrics and/or educational settings preferred
  • Comfortable managing a diverse caseload in both middle and elementary schools
  • Skilled in a range of OT techniques (including home health or healthcare settings is a plus)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and staff
  • Organizational excellence, with the ability to adapt and prioritize across different school environments
  • Commitment to in-person support (remote or virtual candidates will not be considered)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide direct intervention for students, promoting functional and academic success
  • Consult with teachers and staff to design and adapt instructional strategies
  • Develop individualized plans and monitor progress
  • Document sessions and maintain compliance with educational and legal standards
  • Engage actively in IEP meetings and parent communications
  • Contribute positively to both school communities

You’ll find this role both challenging and highly rewarding as you help shape brighter futures. If you’re an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist ready for your next meaningful contract assignment, submit your application today to connect with this unique opportunity!

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.14 to $50.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
