Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year. Based in the vibrant Seattle metro area, youll make a difference in a local school setting through hands-on, in-person service. There are multiple openings available, offering you the flexibility to find the right fit based on your skills and the schools needs.
In this role, youll work a full-time schedule, catering to a varied caseload within your assigned grade band. Your expertise will help foster growth, independence, and academic success for students. The position requires direct engagement, collaboration with educators and families, and thoughtful documentation to support student outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid ESA certification
- Washington OT license
- Fingerprinting clearance through OSPI
- Experience supporting children and adolescents preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
- Commitment to professional collaboration and ongoing development
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive educational strategies
- Monitor progress and maintain detailed, timely therapy records
- Contribute to IEP meetings and support compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students can succeed
