Job description

Step into a rewarding role providing occupational therapy services in an educational setting near Battle Ground, WA. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to support K-12 students across multiple schools, working with a diverse group of approximately 55 children. You'll collaborate with educators and other professionals, making a significant impact on the academic and developmental journeys of students with a variety of needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with active Washington credentials
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
  • Experience or interest in working in a school setting, serving K-12 students
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to multiple school environments
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services for students across several schools
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
  • Provide support and training to teachers, staff, and families to foster student independence
  • Consult with multidisciplinary teams to design and modify school activities
  • Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school-based OT
