Desired Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license issued by the state of Delaware, or a Delaware Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to best practices, ethical standards, and student-centered care
• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy support to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
• Work closely with school staff and parents to promote student engagement and participation in school activities
• Deliver group and individual therapy sessions focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities
• Contribute to team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development sessions as needed
