Key Qualifications:

• Current active Occupational Therapist license for Florida
• Prior experience working in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with educational staff and families
• Dedication to fostering student independence and participation in academic and daily living activities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a defined caseload in compliance with IEP goals and state regulations
• Assess students motor needs and develop individualized therapy plans
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and maintain accurate records per school guidelines
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to promote optimal student outcomes
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding adaptive strategies or interventions
