Job description

Experience the fulfillment of supporting elementary students as a part-time Occupational Therapist, working within a dynamic school environment near Citrus Heights, CA. What we’re looking for:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

  • Ability to supervise, guide, and support a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Confidence in delivering therapy to elementary-aged children across various needs
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs and school objectives
  • Complete thorough assessments, goal planning, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families
  • Supervise and support the professional development of an on-site COTA
  • Participate in meetings, staff discussions, and provide consultative services as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all school policies and professional regulations
