Job description
Make an immediate impact by supporting students across K-12th grades in a highly rated school district near Bridgeport, CT. This contract opportunity is ideal for a full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who thrives in a collaborative educational setting and is ready to start as soon as possible through early December.
Bring your expertise to a school environment, working regular daytime hours (8:30 AM 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday), and help empower students to achieve their fullest potential. This role offers the chance to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, play a pivotal part in students academic and personal growth, and sharpen your own skills in a supportive setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current CT Occupational Therapist or COTA license required
- Experience with school-aged children (K-12) is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for supporting students educational and developmental needs
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting assessments and developing appropriate intervention plans
- Providing direct therapy services to support students IEP goals
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other support staff
- Maintaining thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
- Participating in team meetings and advocating for student needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.00 to $62.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
