Job description

Step into a dynamic school-based OT position where your expertise will touch the lives of students across K-12. This rewarding contract opportunity offers steady, full-time hours in a supportive educational setting. Starting August 24, 2026, you’ll play a vital role in helping children with disabilities—including Autism, cognitive and emotional impairments, and learning differences—thrive and reach their fullest potential.

You’ll spend your days (8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 36.25 hours a week) partnering with educators and families. While specific school buildings are assigned closer to the school year, expect typical assignments across multiple locations within Berrien County, providing invaluable support where it’s needed most.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Michigan
  • Experience working in school settings or with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong understanding of student disabilities, including Autism, cognitive, and emotional impairments
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 55-65 students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Willingness to travel between school sites within the county
  • Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services and interventions to K-12 students with a diverse range of needs
  • Assess, monitor, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary IEP teams and meetings
  • Travel to various school sites as assigned within Berrien County

Seize the chance to make a difference every day with flexible assignments and a welcoming educational community. Your unique skills can empower students to overcome challenges and achieve more than they imagined. Ready to inspire and support young learners? Apply today and help shape brighter futures!
