Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Washington State Occupational Therapy license/certification required
• Must complete fingerprinting with OSPI prior to start
• Experience serving school-aged children, preferably within K-12 settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload of up to 30 students with varying needs
• Proficient in designing, adapting, and implementing individualized interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess, document, and report on student progress
• Participate in team meetings, offering expertise in the development and review of IEPs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to adapt materials and environments
• Educate students, staff, and families on strategies to promote functional independence
• Uphold ethical and legal standards as outlined by professional and state regulations
