Available for the entire 20262027 school year, youll collaborate onsite with students, staff, and families to foster growth and promote independence.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapy license/certification required
- Must complete fingerprinting with OSPI prior to start
- Experience serving school-aged children, preferably within K-12 settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of up to 30 students with varying needs
- Proficient in designing, adapting, and implementing individualized interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess, document, and report on student progress
- Participate in team meetings, offering expertise in the development and review of IEPs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to adapt materials and environments
- Educate students, staff, and families on strategies to promote functional independence
- Uphold ethical and legal standards as outlined by professional and state regulations
