Job description

Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting students’ development in educational settings. This onsite, contract position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across both an elementary school and an Early Learning Center. For the initial phase during a maternity leave, you’ll split your schedule between the two locations. Afterward, you’ll transition to full-time work at the Early Learning Center, focusing on early childhood populations.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapist license required
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based therapy strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive skills in conducting evaluations and providing direct OT services
  • Ability to effectively support elementary-aged and early childhood students
  • Superb communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct Occupational Therapy services to students in both elementary and early learning settings during the maternity leave period
  • Transition to provide full-time support at the Early Learning Center following this coverage
  • Complete thorough, timely evaluations to inform IEP planning and student progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school, district, and state guidelines
