Job description

Take the next step in your occupational therapy career by supporting students in an engaging, collaborative environment near Ann Arbor, MI. We're seeking two full-time Occupational Therapists on a contract basis for the school year, beginning August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027. These positions will serve both elementary and high school populations, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and positively impact student development.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Michigan
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
• Comfortable delivering therapy in both classroom and home health settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create individualized treatment plans and adapt activities for diverse student needs
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive, and growth-oriented learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students at the elementary and high school levels
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, attendance, and communication
• Participate in team meetings, consultations, and IEP/504 development
• Offer training and guidance to educational staff on strategies for supporting student access and participation
