More about our team Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals is a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital specializing in the treatment of patients recovering from post-intensive care and medically complex conditions. Our hospital provides both intensive care and telemetry-level services, offering advanced monitoring and support for patients requiring extended medical care. With a multidisciplinary team dedicated to personalized treatment plans, we focus on helping patients achieve significant recovery and transition to the next level of care. How you'll contribute A Program Director (PD) who excels in this role: Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the rehabilitation program, ensuring exceptional clinical quality, patient outcomes, and organizational performance. You will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all program activities to achieve both organizational and client objectives. This role serves as a key leader within the interdisciplinary team, driving program growth, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence. The Program Director is accountable for program development, quality and performance initiatives, productivity enhancement, team engagement, and problem-solving while maintaining a patient-centered approach to care delivery. What we're looking for The ideal candidate will possess an active Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) license. Additional requirements include: A bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field, business administration, public relations, human services, or a related discipline. Candidates with a clinical background must maintain an active, unrestricted professional license in accordance with state requirements. Proven leadership and management experience within a healthcare or human services setting. Extensive rehabilitation experience and a strong understanding of clinical operations. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Experience working with geriatric and physically disabled populations preferred. Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare technology platforms. Reliable transportation for travel as required.
