Job description

We are currently looking for a PRN Pediatric Occupational Therapist to support children and families in Southeast Dallas, with caseload opportunities ready to go.

What You’ll Do

As a Pediatric OT, you will:

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs, goals, and family priorities

Provide direct occupational therapy services in the home setting

Support skill development across daily routines, including self-care, play, fine motor, sensory, motor planning, and functional participation

Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to support meaningful outcomes

Recommend adaptive equipment and train families on how to use strategies in everyday life

Partner closely with parents and caregivers to encourage carryover between visits

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, child-centered care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas

Pediatric experience preferred, but not required

Home health experience is a plus

Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families

A detail-oriented, compassionate, and dependable approach to care

Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with positioning, transfers, and therapeutic activities as needed
