Job description

Deliver impactful patient care by utilizing your occupational therapy expertise in a hospital-based setting. This contract opportunity involves working across multiple sites, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support a diverse patient population.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Includes two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
• Flexible scheduling options available
• Float between assigned locations as needed

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care environment preferred
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to float between multiple facilities and adapt to different team settings
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a group

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans for patients with diverse diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure optimal patient care
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary
• Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals, exercises, and safety
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to regulatory requirements
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans
